Kim Leonard
President
Kim is the President of TALASKE as well as Professional Audio Designs (the parent company of TALASKE). For more than thirty-five years she has studied audio engineering, working in a wide variety of roles and disciplines. As a leader in the AV and Acoustics industry, Kim has established a reputation across the field for creatively managing complex projects and design solutions. Since becoming the President of PAD and TALASKE, Kim has fostered the collaborative spirit our team is known for today.

Scott Leonard
Vice President
Scott founded Professional Audio Designs (the parent company of TALASKE) in 1985, with a mission to create spaces that provide exceptional experiences in AV and Acoustics. Quickly after founding the company, Scott's passion for excellence in audio helped him to build relationships with some of the largest performing arts organizations in Southeastern Wisconsin. As Scott has continued to grow the company he has designed, installed, and maintained a wide variety of audio and video systems throughout the United States.

Phil Roeglin
Principal - Engineering & Design
As a pianist and composer Phil brings a musician's perspective to each audio, video, and acoustic design challenge. With over twenty-five years of experience in AV design Phil solves design challenges creatively, connecting with clients needs from both a personal and professional perspective. After years of designing systems of every variety, Phil has been named the Principal of Design and Engineering at TALASKE, where he provides guidance and coordination for all consulting projects.

Hans Michel
Senior Acoustics Consultant
As an active musician in the Chicago arts community, Hans has a personal relationship with performing arts and the spaces in which they take place. Hans combines his experience as musician with his knowledge in physics, engineering, and psychoacoustics to create practical design solutions in a variety of space types, with an emphasis on performing arts facilities. Working with the team at TALASKE, Hans has developed an AIA course, Designing for the Acoustic Experience, that he teaches throughout the Milwaukee area.

Jared Paine
Acoustics Consultant
Jared's early interests in music and science fields helped him to create a wide base of knowledge to apply to the field of acoustics. He is fascinated with how the acoustics of a space affect human interactions, both consciously and unconsciously. Jared believes that architecture has an important impact on human interaction within the space and that sound plays a vital role. As an acoustics consultant, Jared helps create spaces with sonic characteristics conducive to genuine human interactions.

Robb Peters
Senior Audiovisual Consultant
Robb's background in AV integration services provides him with a strong skillset for identifying and planning for design challenges that may otherwise arise in the field. Robb specializes in projects where onsite coordination is essential and has worked on many projects where existing conditions and historic preservation are major components of project success. Throughout his time working with the design team Robb has built lasting relationships with TALASKE's clients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

Evan Koehn
Senior Audiovisual Consultant
Following his studies in Electrical Engineering, Evan transitioned into studing audio with an emphasis on built environments. Evan specializes in complex projects that feature a wide variety of system types and design challenges. Utilizing his attention to detail and technical background, Evan tailors his solutions to the users needs while continuously coordinating and evaluating his designs in the context of the architectural and MEP systems around them.

Michael Umile
Senior Audiovisual & Acoustics Consultant
Michael specializes in audiovisual and acoustic system design in the performing arts realm, where his experience ranges from early work in the field as a stagehand to freelance engineering roles in a variety of audio environments. Following his passion for live sound, Michael studied Architectural Acoustics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a focus on the ways in which immersive virtual environments impact experience. In addition to his work in system design, Michael is an Adjunct Professor at the Purchase College.
