Hans Michel comes to TALASKE with a breadth of experience in music, physics, and architecture. As a lifelong performer with an insatiable curiosity, science provided an irresistible outlet to understand, explain, and design spaces for optimal acoustic performance.
As a performing musician and son of professional musicians, Hans has a deep insight into the needs of a performer. His studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign provide him with a rich technical background in physics, electrical engineering, acoustics, and psychoacoustics. His experience building instruments and amplifiers have helped shape his design skills and define his self motivated pursuit of excellence.
In several internships, Hans has been able to work on performing arts, educational and worship spaces with regard to noise control, acoustic isolation and room acoustics. Since joining TALASKE in 2010, Hans has utilized his analytical skills and experience with AutoCAD to assist the firm’s acoustics team.
